William M. Hancock, a native of Decatur, Alabama, earned a bachelor degree from the University of South Alabama in 1998. He attended the University of Alabama School of Law and received his J.D. degree in 2002. While in law school, Mr. Hancock earned the CALI "Excellence For The Future Award" in Products Liability. He is admitted to the Alabama State Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Mr. Hancock practices in Commercial Litigation, Creditors Rights, Bankruptcy, Banking Law, Foreclosure and Landlord/Tenant Law. In his role as a Creditors' Rights advocate in bankruptcy, Mr. Hancock has lectured on recent bankruptcy reform to lawyers, bankers and the financial community. He is a member of the American Bar Association, The Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association, and the Alabama State Bar.
