R. Wayne Wolfe was born in Birmingham, Alabama and attended undergraduate school at Auburn University and University of North Alabama, graduating with High Honors in 1975. He attended Birmingham School of Law graduating in 1979, having received Jurisprudence awards for excellence in trial advocacy.

He was admitted to practice in September, 1979, and began litigating matters involving trial in insurance defense and commercial law. He opened his private practice in 1982 with an emphasis on personal injury litigation and commercial litigation.

Mr. Wolfe is a member of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association; American Bar Association; Alabama State Bar (Chairman: Workers Compensation Section); Association of Trial Lawyers of America; Alabama Trial Lawyers Association (Executive Board 1989-1997); County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Alabama; United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama; Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals; Supreme Court of the United States of America. He is also certified as a Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and has been selected by his peers to be included in THE BEST LAWYERS OF AMERICA.
