Mr. South was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He received his undergraduate degree from Samford University in 2000. He attended the University of Alabama School of Law and received his J.D. degree in 2003. Mr. South is a member of the Huntsville-Madison County, Birmingham and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Alabama State Bar.

Before joining the firm, Mr. South worked as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Scott J. Vowell in the Jefferson County Circuit Court and then began practicing insurance defense law in the Birmingham area. His primary areas of practice are Real Estate Law, Business Law, Residential and Commercial Closings, Banking Law, and Annuities.
